It has been brought to my attention that Olympic isn’t what it seems to be. I’ve updated the pictures to what is presently being seen in the sanctuary. I will update this when/if animal cruelty/abuse/neglect charges are filed.
Olympic Animal Sanctuary is a nonprofit animal welfare and rescue organization located in Forks, Washington, providing permanent placement for dogs that are not realistically adoptable due to their temperament or history. The Sanctuary is also a safe haven for wolf hybrids and coyote hybrids.

I had to give this a star, as there was no option to give it negative stars. Frightening situation for over 100 dogs, crammed in tiny crates and cages, some crippled from not being able to stand fully. No staff at all except the "owner", fed 2-3 times WEEK. No heat in the broken down building. Operator Steve Markwell is happy to take your donated money but does nothing that the OAS website claims. These dogs are not worked with and rehabilitated. There are no green, happy pastures to run in. Just crates and cages, and a tiny little outdoor "play area" for selected dogs. No smoke alarms, no sprinklers, dry straw in all the cages and crates, exposed wires.. you get the picture. No one is allowed inside. these pictures were taken by the Forks Police Dept. For more pics and to find out if these dogs survive, please go to http://olympicanimalsanctuary.info Thank you for your concern.
